    Lake Champlain Maritime Museum

    Home to a 54 foot replica of Benedict Arnold's boat, the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, in Vergennes, Vermont sits on the edge of one of the most historic lakes in the United States. The museum is dedicated to the preservation of the maritime traditions and skills. It features a number of hands on and interactive exhibits.

    Shelburne Museum
    Existing both virtually and in the real world, the Shelburne museum began with a vision arising out of the founder's passion for collecting bits of 'Americana' and her sense of appreciation for the 'ordinary.' From those early beginnings it has expanded beyond folk art to include fine art as well. The Shelburne is located a short five mile drive from downtown Burlington.

    Rokeby Museum
    This 90-acre site is designated a National Historic Landmark based on the role it played in the Underground Railroad during the 1830s and 1840s. Rokeby Museum is open from mid-May to mid-October.
